How did the inhabitants of the lake community adapt to life in the lake?

All the inhabitants of the lake have somehow adapted to life in the water or on its surface. Fish have gills with which they breathe, fins with which they move, scales also aid movement. To go up or down to the bottom, fish have a swim bladder. Frogs breathe in water with their skin. Birds that live on the surface of the water have membranes on their paws, their feathers do not get wet due to special substances with which they are covered. Aquatic animals feed on fish, molluscs, insect larvae and protozoa.
