How did the international recognition of human rights come about?

In the post-war years, a commission was created that dealt with the rights of people. Then we created the Declaration of Human and Citizen Rights. This happened in 1948. The idea of the declaration is that every person on Earth, all dependencies on his origin, has equal rights with everything. The commission included UN countries, 18 members in total. The Declaration was being prepared for quite a long time, everyone agreed with its individual parts. The adoption of the Declaration was supported by 48 countries. Today, most countries, creating their laws are based on the Declaration of Human Rights.
