How did the Peloponnesian war differ from the Greco-Persian wars?

The Greco-Persian Wars was a conflict between the Persian Empire and the Greek city-states. Whereas the Peloponnesian War was a conflict within Greece, that is, it was fought between the Greek poleis. If the Greco-Persian wars united the Greeks and became the cause of the prosperity of Greece, then the Peloponnesian War, on the contrary, became the cause of the subsequent decline of Greece.
