How did the reformation change the image of Europe?

Thanks to the Reformation, many trends appeared in Christianity. Thus, the followers of Martin Luther became Lutherans, and the followers of John Calvin began to call themselves Calvinists. The Reformation undermined the authority of the Pope and the Catholic Church as a whole. In addition, it should be noted that the emerging trends within Christianity in many European countries are becoming official religions. Accordingly, the political face of Europe is changing.
