After the end of the Second World War, relations between the USSR and Western countries acquired a sharply opposing nature. This was due to the fact that the interests of the USSR and the USA collided in Europe. Each of the two sides sought to expand its sphere of influence, to strengthen its position in the post-war world. Two diametrically opposite development models collided: socialist and capitalist. Each of the winning countries tried to get as much benefit as possible, to find new markets for their products. And if we consider the Second World War as a means of combating the communist threat, then the goals were not achieved. Therefore, the Western countries moved from hidden confrontation to open one.
