How did the Slavic tribes get their names?

Slavic tribes received a name either by the territory of their location, or in honor of their ancestors, for example:
1) On the territory of location: Drevlyans, Polyana and Dregovichi.
Drevlyans are people who lived in the forest. Glades are a people who lived on the plain. The Dregovichi are a tribe located at the swamp.
2) In honor of the national ancestors: Vyatichi, Radimichi and Krivichi.
