How did the townspeople, monks, knights, peasants feel about their activities?

The Middle Ages were quite difficult for the life of the lower classes. In medieval society, there was a large hierarchy, and rarely did anyone manage to get one step higher. The most difficult life was for ordinary peasants, since the feudal lords often took the last crumbs of bread from them. Not to mention the wars, when the property of the peasants, who were found in the immediate vicinity of the hostilities, suffered the most. The townspeople also lived a difficult life, although in comparison with the peasants they had better conditions. Monks belonged to the church class, they devoted their lives to serving God. The knights were constantly in search of adventure and profit. They were often hired by the army of feudal lords, and when the Crusades began, they were among the first to set foot on the holy land.
