How did the United States achieve political power?

The importance of the United States in world politics began to grow rapidly at the beginning of the last century. This is primarily due to the events of the First World War. While the recognized world leaders, Germany, France, Great Britain, Russia, were rebuilding the ruined economy, the United States was building up its economic power, which allowed them to take an active part in solving many world problems. Similar processes took place as a result of the Second World War. No hostilities took place on the territory of the United States, which allowed them to accumulate industrial and scientific potential, and to increase financial capital. The growth of the US economic power has become a source of political power.
