How did the Zemsky Sobor differ from the Parliament in England?

Representatives of all strata of the population took part in the Parliament of England, including representatives of the third estate (workers, artisans, peasants). The economic interests of this class were represented by its deputies. This estate strengthened its position during the development of commodity-market relations.

Zemsky sobors, as a rule, did not take into account the interests of the third estate, which was suppressed by duties and taxes. Peasants were not allowed to attend Zemsky Sobors at all.
