How did they differ from the Normans and Vikings?

They are one and the same people, that is, the Scandinavians. During the Middle Ages, Vikings (or Normans) often went on sea voyages, during which they plundered the coastal cities of northern Europe. Because of such raids, they have won notoriety for themselves as brutal robbers. After a certain period of time, they were feared by all European states that had access to the sea. For the Vikings themselves, sea voyages were one of the main means of survival, since the harsh climate in Scandinavia was not very suitable for farming.
