How do amoeba move?

Amoeba consists of one cell, but this cell is a whole organism, leading an independent existence.
The body of an ordinary amoeba forms protrusions – pseudopods. Releasing the pseudopods in a certain direction, the amoeba moves at a speed of about 0.2 mm per minute.
