How do bacteria cope with adverse living conditions?

There are spore-bearing bacteria – these are bacteria that have a protective shell-spore that protects them from the effects of adverse factors: drought or, on the contrary, excessive humidity, lack of air, and so on. When entering an unfavorable habitat, they form a spore. While in spores, bacteria can stay for a long time without any threat to their existence. When they enter a favorable environment, a vital bacterium grows out of the spore.
