How do differences in climate affect the vegetation of forest zones?

Forests at different climatic latitudes differ from each other, as different plants are adapted to different temperatures. Near the equator and in the tropics, where it is hot and humid all year round, evergreen deciduous forests are formed, where plants are always active. In the subtropics it is arid, and there the plants are thorny, have hard leaves. In the temperate zone, deciduous deciduous forests, as it is cold in winter, and in the north, there are already coniferous forests that can withstand very low temperatures.
