How do holes appear in pure semiconductors?

Holes in pure semiconductors arise as a result of an increase in temperature and destruction of covalent bonds. They are carried out by valence electrons, after which places are soon formed in which an electron is missing – after which the so-called “Hole” is formed. It has a special ability to move within the crystal itself, because valence electrons can freely take its place. Everywhere and always, the movement of the so-called “Holes” occurs towards the vector.
