How do lighting conditions affect leaf structure?

If the plant is exposed to light, its leaves are smaller, lighter in color, and have less chlorophyll. The flesh of a leaf is a cell that adheres tightly to each other in several layers. The leaves are at a significant angle.
If the plant is in a darkened place, its leaves are large, they are thinner, darker (because there is more chlorophyll). The cells are round, not tightly attached, two or three layers.
