How do mushrooms reproduce?

Mushrooms reproduce asexually or sexually. Asexual reproduction occurs with the help of specialized cells – spores, budding (in unicellular yeasts) or vegetatively. Vegetative propagation is carried out by parts of the mycelium. Some fungi have sexual reproduction. In this case, the mycelium is formed as a result of the fusion of specialized germ cells.
