How do organisms interact with each other in the environment? Give examples of the forms of coexistence of organisms.

Three types of relationships can arise between organisms: hostile (antagonistic), mutually beneficial, or neutral. Hostile – different forms of competition or predator-prey relationship. Neutral – in which organisms do not interact directly with each other. Coexistence (symbiosis) is different: parasitism – one organism uses another as a habitat and a source of food; mutualism – mutually beneficial cohabitation; commensalism is a one-sided benefit without harming another organism.
