How do people feel about the exhaustible resources of nature?

In the modern world, people are somewhat careless about exhaustible resources. They think they can use them forever. People don’t think that some resources will last for just a few more years.
Exhaustible resources include minerals. Take coal, for example. People use it so thoughtlessly that in the near future this mineral may disappear forever.
Therefore, humanity should conserve the resources of the Earth, otherwise future generations will have nothing left at all.
