How do plants in the community affect each other?

Doug with a friend for space, light, mineral nutrition. Some plants partly create living conditions for others (for example, shade, accessibility to the wind, etc.); among the plants there are those that live off their fellows. For example, such parasitic plants as petrov krest and broomrape receive ready-made organic matter by sucking on the roots of other plants using special suction cups. They themselves lack chlorophyll and have lost the ability to photosynthesize. Plants such as the big rattle, ivan-da-marya, mistletoe, also parasitize on other plants, but they are green in color and can form organic matter themselves, therefore they are called semi-parasites.
