How do relief and minerals affect the life and economic activities of people?

Let’s imagine three regions. One of them is located in a mountainous area, the second in the desert, but with rich natural resources, the third region is located on a green plain.
In the first case, people will have to explore the mountains and use the land as economically as possible. (there are very few places for agriculture and industrial buildings).
In the second region, there will be excellent soil for the development of industry and the economy of the state, but at the same time agriculture will lag behind (although in the UAE the desert does not interfere in the least with the development of agriculture).
The third region has ideal conditions for the development of agriculture. It is unlikely that in such a state the development of industry will be fully possible.
