How do sucker roots differ from real roots?

The root is a vegetative organ of terrestrial plants (trees, bushes, etc.). Thanks to which the plant is fixed in the ground and the process of its nutrition (“drinking” of water and minerals). Sucker roots – plant roots of parasites that penetrate into other plants “eating” sap – nutrients.
