How do the marginal seas differ from the inland ones?

Inland seas are those seas that have a border with land and not with oceans, seas, or islands. These include seas such as the Mediterranean, Black and Red Seas. Also, such seas can be part of either one or two states. The marginal seas include those seas that have a border with the oceans, and seas, and islands. But not with land. These are the Bering, Laptev, Norwegian, Yellow seas. They, like internal ones, can also be part of several states.
