How do viruses multiply?

Viruses are pathogenic organisms, the reproduction of which is possible only in the cell of another organism.

Viruses enter another cell in two ways – either by dissolving the cell membrane, or entering the cell as a result of the process of pinocytosis, and having already entered the cell, they get rid of the membrane.

The virus multiplication process includes three processes:

– replication of nucleic acid;

– protein synthesis;

– assembly of virions.
