How do you assess the modern human influence on nature?

In modern society, much attention is paid to the disappearance of many types of plants and animals. Thus, one part of humanity is indifferent to natural areas, destroying them in order to make a profit. Another part of the population is fighting for the survival of endangered species. Human civilization is growing, cities are expanding, destroying all signs of wildlife around them. Concrete jungles are replacing green jungles. Thus, humanity gets rid of living nature a little bit.
