Such a task can be completed only if we are talking about a regular hexagon – that is, about such a hexagon in which all sides and all internal coals are equal. Since the perimeter is the sum of the lengths of the sides, the perimeter of a regular hexagon is found by the formula:
P = 6 * a,
where a is the length of one side of the hexagon.
Accordingly, to determine the length of the side of a hexagon, you need to divide its perimeter by 6.
Answer: a = P: 6
(i.e. the perimeter must be divided by 6).
