How does a disease disrupt the order in the body?

During ontogenesis, the human body fights against various invisible enemies, namely: bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms. If our immunity is weakened, then the cells of the body cannot fully perform the protective function and at this moment a person begins the period of the so-called illness. There are often four periods.

The latent period (the first period) runs from the moment the cause is exposed to the appearance of the first clinical signs of the disease. At this stage, the body’s defenses are mobilized, the function of which is to compensate for the disturbed structures of the body.

Prodromal period (second period) – lasts from the first signs of the disease to the full manifestation of its symptoms. Sometimes this period can manifest itself brightly, and in some cases it is characterized by the manifestation of weak but clear signs of the disease.

The period of pronounced manifestations of the disease (the height of the disease). This period is characterized by the full development of the clinical picture, namely: convulsions appear with problems with the parathyroid gland, leukopenia occurs with radiation sickness and others.

And the very last stage is the final or outcome of the disease. It can be different: complete recovery, incomplete recovery, pathological condition and death.
