How does a kettle of water heat up on a hot stove?

When the kettle is heated on the stove, heat energy enters from below, heating the lower layers of water. As a result of this, a physical phenomenon occurs – convection (one of the methods of heat transfer, it can only occur in liquids and gases). Warm water is easier for cold water, so it rises up and pushes cold water to its place at the bottom. So, circulating with warm streams, all the water is heated.
