How does a microscope work?

The light microscope consists of a telescope (tube), a stage and a mirror, which are attached to a tripod. An eyepiece is inserted into the upper end of the tube. The eyepiece consists of a frame and two magnifying glasses (lenses) inserted into it. There is a lens at the opposite (lower) end of the tube. It also consists of a frame and several lenses. The position of the tube relative to the objects placed on the stage is adjusted with screws.
