How does a person’s feelings differ from his emotions?

Emotions are processes of the psyche of people and animals, acting as a response to various external stimuli. These include: gaiety, anger, fear, etc. They are short-term and form the foundation of feelings – a long-term relationship to objects, phenomena and subjects, for example, love, anxiety, grief, resentment. Their significant difference is in the speed and period of these processes. It is also characteristic that feelings are revealed through emotions. After all, the latter are always noticeable, and feelings can be hidden.
