He differed from modern man in that he did not have such advanced technologies, as well as in the level of culture and civilization. In those days, people had to fight for their lives, constantly looking for food and shelter. True, when the ice age finally receded, people felt a little easier. They were able to master agriculture and eventually begin to lead a sedentary lifestyle.
