How does a solid transfer pressure?

In all cases, when a solid body presses on another solid body, it exerts a force on it – the force of pressure.
A person leans against a wall or stands on the ground, then the surface of solid bodies that comes into contact with a person experiences pressure on itself, the value of which is equal to the ratio of the force acting perpendicular to the surface area on which the pressure occurs.
So: 1. The force has a direction of its action – perpendicular to the pressure area. 2. Pressure is expressed only by a numerical (mathematical) value. Pressure has no direction. The pressure of a rigid body is a scalar quantity.
