How does blood move through the vessels?

The pathways of blood flow in the body are arteries, along which blood moves from the heart; veins through which it flows to the heart and, the smallest and most numerous vessels, capillaries, gas exchange takes place in them. What makes the blood vessels run continuously? One of the reasons is the pressure that the ventricles of the heart create at the moment of contraction. The second reason is the pressure difference in arteries and veins. Here you can draw an analogy with communicating vessels – blood moves from a high-pressure area to a low-pressure area.
