How does geometry help in life?

Geometry and mathematical disciplines are required for the development of abstract thinking. Studying the aspect ratio of figures and numbers, we get used to moving in the element of conceivable definitions, and looking for its essence behind every phenomenon. Geometry helps people solve certain practical or logical problems. Thus, it can be argued that geometry develops logic.

Professions related to geometry
Of course, we need math everywhere: on the bus, in the store, at home and at school. However, there are no professions where only geometry is needed.

Architect
Architecture is music frozen in stone. In my opinion, the most “geometric profession” is an architect. Architecture is one of the most comprehensive areas of human activity, dealing with the organization of space and time and solving any spatial and temporal problems, from the development of strategies for the development of agglomerations to the design of door handles. Before constructing a residential building, design the future building on the drawings on a reduced scale. The architect comes up with the basic concept of the building, its appearance, ties together all the nuances. The architect’s task is to design a structure that best meets the needs of the customer.

Engineer
Another important profession is engineer. A civil engineer is a contractor, i.e. foreman, he supervises general construction works, installation of structures, exercises control over quality.
In design organizations, engineers perform work on integrated design: architectural, structural parts (power supply, heating and ventilation, water supply and sewerage, low-current systems – telephone, fire alarm, TV surveillance, etc.). In addition, they develop master plans for the projected complexes, which include roads, earthworks, and construction management. The direction of activity of builders is very wide – in addition to the construction of buildings, industrial complexes, factories, they design bridges, hydraulic structures, dams, dams, etc.

Designer
Design is a creative activity that aims to define the formal qualities of industrial products. These qualities include the external features of the product, but mainly those structural relationships that transform the product into a whole, both from the point of view of the consumer and from the point of view of the manufacturer. To be a designer means to be creative. For this, those who decided to choose this profession go to special training courses, which will certainly include the study of drawing, geometry and other special programs that will be useful to the future specialist.

Constructor
The designer carries out design and technological design, develops and implements innovative technological production processes, develops technological structures for various purposes, their individual elements and parts, workshops. Conducts research in the field of design using new developments, achievements in various fields of science. In order to become a designer, you need to study engineering, mechanics, physics, algebra, geometry, chemistry … And possess such qualities as: high concentration and stability of attention, logic, technical mindset.

Fashion designer
A fashion designer is a specialist in the manufacture of clothing models, a creator of experimental designs, defining an image and style, a general design solution, inventing new technological solutions and developing decor, choosing colors and materials, thinking over accessories and additions. Thanks to the work of a fashion designer, our clothes become more comfortable, stylish and of high quality.

One of the components of a person's success in our time is receiving modern high-quality education, mastering the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for life in society. A person today needs to study almost all his life, mastering everything new and new, acquiring the necessary professional qualities.
