How does latitude affect solar radiation?

Since the Earth has the shape of a ball, the planet has such a phenomenon as latitudinal zoning, due to the fact that the Earth’s surface receives an unequal amount of solar energy due to a change in the angle of incidence of the same solar rays. At the poles, the sun’s rays glide over the earth’s surface, so less solar energy is used per unit area. Thus, from the equator to the poles of the Earth, the amount of received radiation also decreases.
