How does pineapple fruit form?

Pineapple is a well-known fruit that has a sweet and sour pulp, which has many vitamins and various microelements. The homeland of pineapple is Brazil. The height of this plant is about 60 centimeters. Some people mistakenly believe that the pineapple fruit grows on a palm tree. But this is not at all the case. In fact, this plant is considered a herb and grows on the ground. The length of individual pineapple leaves can reach up to 100 cm, all of them are collected in a wide trunk and have the ability to accumulate moisture in themselves. The root system is almost undeveloped. At the very top of the flower shoot are pineapple flowers, which are very close to each other and form a kind of “spiral”. Flowers develop within three weeks, and then each flower produces its own mini-fruit. When mini-fruits grow together, then a whole pineapple fruit is formed.
