How does stress affect the development of muscle fatigue?

So, first of all, it should be said that all types of muscle tissue, namely smooth, cardiac and skeletal, do work. However, it is worth considering that fatigue can occur only in the striated muscles, while the rest of the muscles work according to the principle of automatism and experience fatigue with aging of the whole organism. The work of the striated muscles is carried out by the actin-myosin complex, which requires ATP molecules, a universal source of energy. ATP is formed by oxidative phosphorylation from glucose molecules. With prolonged exertion or rapid rapid exertion, in which the body is exhausted, there is a lack of oxygen. Lack of oxygen leads to the breakdown of pyruvic acid into lactic acid. Lactic acid does not participate in the processes of muscle contraction, thus, in large quantities, it causes fatigue, a decrease in their efficiency. Also, with a lack of oxygen, muscle microtrauma occurs, which also affect fatigue.
