How, in your opinion, could the religion of the Germanic barbarians contribute to the success of their military campaigns?

I believe that it was religion that contributed to the success of the military campaigns of the Germans, because:
1) the Germans have many warrior gods (Thor, Odin, Tur), which means they are quite warlike.
2) according to their mythology, the highest achievement for a man is to get to Valhalla, where, together with the rich, wait for the end of time and the last battle. This is a kind of analogue of paradise, which can only be entered by showing courage and valor on the battlefield.
