How is artificial selection different from natural selection?

Natural and artificial selection are methods of progress and development of living organisms and plants. They differ in many ways, ranging from methods of implementation, methods and goals achieved. Natural selection is influenced by environmental conditions, for adaptation to which species of plants and animals acquire certain forms, colors, methods of reproduction and other characteristics. Artificial selection is carried out by humans and has as its goal the breeding of breeds and species that meet certain requirements and are of economic value. Natural selection takes place throughout the history of the existence of living nature, artificial selection is carried out by a person, and sometimes it takes only a few years to breed a new breed or species, since a person uses selection methods and works only with a certain group of individuals. And the most important difference is that nature itself conducts natural selection in its ecosystem, and a person conducts selection in specially equipped places – nurseries, farms and other closed systems.
