How is cleavage different from mitotic cell division in adult animals?

Cleavage is a multiple division of the zygote without increasing the size of the cells. That is, with each division, the number of cells increases, and the size of each cell becomes smaller and smaller. These cells are called blastomeres. Mitosis is the division of the somatic cells of the body, accompanied by their growth, that is, each daughter cell grows to the size of the parent. The mitosis process is slower than the cleavage process.
