How is electricity transmitted from a power plant to a consumer?

The transmission of electricity from substations to consumers is carried out through power lines (abbreviated power lines), while a distinction is made between overhead power lines and cable lines, i.e. electricity can be transmitted via high voltage lines or cables. Also, the supply of electricity to transformer substations and switchgears is carried out through buses.
