How is excitement transmitted in synapses?

In the Golgi apparatus, substances (neurotransmitters) are secreted and enter the end of the axon into the presynthetic membrane, then into the synaptic cleft and bind to receptors on the postsynaptic membrane. Vesicles with neurotransmitters are released and act on receptors using sodium-potassium channels. an axon or dendrite of another neuron receives excitation and directs it to the body of the neuron.
