How is our school different from the Athenian school in antiquity?

There were quite a few differences in the Athenian school:

1) Only boys studied there. In most cases, these were children from wealthy families, since the children of the poor were forced to work with their parents in the fields.

2) At school they studied: grammar, reading, mathematics, history, literature, philosophy, music, went in for sports.

3) Often a slave-servant was assigned to the boys, who accompanied them to lessons.

One of the components of a person's success in our time is receiving modern high-quality education, mastering the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for life in society. A person today needs to study almost all his life, mastering everything new and new, acquiring the necessary professional qualities.
