How is the accountability of power ensured in a democracy?

The control of the authorities is provided by several points.
1. Suffrage: free secret elections, equal right to participate in elections of power for every citizen regardless of social and financial status.
2. Separation of powers – legislative, executive, judicial power. The competence and area of responsibility for institutions belonging to different types of government are separate.
3. Glasnost – freedom of speech, freedom of the press, the ability to find out reliable information about what is happening in the country through the media.

A person today needs to study almost all his life, mastering everything new and new, acquiring the necessary professional qualities.
