How is the charge of the electroscope judged by the angle of divergence of the electroscope leaves?

If the electroscope is positively charged, then bringing a body with the same charge to it will cause an even greater divergence of the leaves in the electroscope; bringing a body with an opposite charge will lead to a decrease in the angle between the leaves of the electroscope. When the electroscope is not charged, touching the rod with the body makes it possible to determine whether the body is charged, the more charged the body, the greater the angle the leaves of the electroscope diverge.
