How is the connection between living and inanimate nature carried out?

The connection between objects of living and non-living nature is carried out through a constant exchange of energy and matter. Using the energy of sunlight, plants from carbon dioxide and compounds absorbed from the soil create organic matter, which is then assimilated by animals. Animals spend the energy of the obtained organic substances for movement, nutrition, respiration, etc. The carbon dioxide released during respiration is again absorbed by the plants. After the death of an animal, its body decomposes to the simplest substances by microorganisms and the substances again enter the soil. Then the cycle repeats.
