How is the coordination in the work of the departments of the nervous system?

Coordination in the work of different parts of the nervous system occurs due to the presence of close connections, which are represented by millions of ascending and descending nerve processes. There is also a system of special signaling molecules – neuropeptides. Standing out in the working departments, they inhibit inactive parts of the system, preventing their premature excitation, thus everything works in a strict sequence. The brain stem is entwined by the reticular formation, which works like a relay.
