How is the ectoderm of coelenterates arranged?

Cavities are primitive multicellular animals whose body consists of two layers of cells:
1) the outer layer – ectoderm;
2) the inner layer – endoderm.
The ectoderm of coelenterates consists of:
a) skin and muscle cells – cover and protection;
b) stinging cells – protection, food capture;
c) intermediate cells – regeneration, growth, formation of germ cells;
d) nerve cells – connecting with processes form a diffuse nervous system, carry out reflexes.
