How is the interconnection of the functioning of all organs ensured in the body?

The interconnection of the organs of a multicellular organism is provided by the regulation of the brain. The brain is able to properly regulate the functioning of various organs. Each part of the brain has its own function. For example – the medulla oblongata regulates the respiratory, circulatory and digestive systems; the temporal lobes of the hemispheres are responsible for the perception of various stimuli and the response to them. Therefore, it is only thanks to the correct functioning of the brain that the organismic system of animals exists.
