How is the religion of the ancient Jews different from the religion of the ancient Egyptians?

The ancient Jews worshiped one God – Yahweh. Their religion – Judaism – was monotheistic (from the ancient Greek “mono” – one).

In the religion of the ancient Egyptians, there were more than 1000 gods. The Egyptians represented them in the form of animals, frogs, snakes. They even depicted their gods as animals with a human body.
