How is the respiration of amphibians and reptiles carried out? List the respiratory organs?

Reptiles have well-developed respiratory organs. The larynx leads to the respiratory tube, which in turn divides into bronchi, which leads to the lungs. Thanks to the special muscles and the presence of ribs, the processes of inhalation and exhalation are carried out. Also, some reptiles have a mucous membrane that allows them to get oxygen in the water.

Unlike reptiles, amphibians have a complete set of respiratory organs: gills, lungs, and skin respiration.

Light amphibians do not have a developed structure, but they make it easy to use them on land. The gills are mainly used before the stage of metamorphosis. In most cases, skin respiration is the main process for obtaining oxygen.
